Obituary of Samuel S. Turiano

Samuel S. Turiano, of Trumbull, died Sunday, January 30, 2005 at his residence. Born in Bridgeport, he was a son of the late Antonio and Rose Gullotta Turiano, Sr. and was a graduate of Central High School in 1950 and the Hart College of Music in 1955. Mr. Turiano was an accomplished pianist and resident of Trumbull since 1976. He was a member of the executive board of the American Federation of Musicians, Local #52626, the Trinacria M. A. Society, a charter member of the Huntington Civil Civitan, past president of the Knights of the Grip of Connecticut and Western Massachusetts and a dispatcher for the Trumbull Senior Center.

Survivors include his wife, Wendy Maciaszek Turiano, a brother, Michael Turiano of Stratford, a sister, Julia Vozzo of Bridgeport and many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a son, Daniel Duane. 

Friends are invited to meet directly in the Long Hill Baptist Church, 100 Middlebrooks Ave., Trumbull on Thursday, February 3, 2005 at 11:00 a.m for funeral services with Dr. Rev. J. Mark Aheron, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in Long Hill Burial Grounds, Trumbull. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
