Obituary of Lucy Mary Baldino

Lifelong Bridgeport Resident Lucy Baldino, age 92, of Bridgeport, a retired employee of Avco Lycoming, died peacefully on Saturday, September 1, 2007 in St. Vincent Medical Center. Born on May 4, 1915, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Mary Calogine Baldino and was a lifelong city resident. An avid Yankees fan, Lucy was a kind and loving aunt and great aunt who will be deeply missed. Survivors include a sister-in-law, Annette Baldino of Bridgeport, special nieces, Elaine Fay and her husband Edward of Bridgeport, with whom Lucy resided, Emma Wheway of Stratford, Barbara Pawlak of Meriden as well as several additional nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. Miss Baldino was pre-deceased by a brother, Anthony Baldino and three sisters Mae Bruno, Viola DiPietro and Ida Baldino. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m.
