Obituary of Bernhardt L. Todisco

Resident of Trumbull Bernhardt (Bernie) L. Todisco, age 55, of Trumbull, passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2010, in his home. Born in Bridgeport on February 15, 1955, he was the son of the late Louis and Paula Todisco. He will be greatly missed by his daughters, Stacy Todisco of Trumbull and Jennifer Todisco of Tolland; and their mother Nadine Biagioni Todisco. He was predeceased by a brother, Paul Todisco and his wife Nancy, both of Miami, Florida. Survivors include his brother, Louis Todisco and his wife Paullette of Cheshire. He will also be missed by his nieces and nephews, Jill, Joseph, Amy, Michelle, and Nicholas Todisco, and by the many friends he made and kept throughout his life. Bernie graduated from Trumbull High School in 1973 and went on to earn his Bachelor of Science degree from Sacred Heart University in 1978. He enjoyed his career as a contract manager and the people he worked with at Avco Lycoming, Textron, General Datacom, AT&T and his present employer, Southeast Connecticut Enterprise Program (PTAP). Bernie was an ardent sports fan and a life-long lover of the New York Yankees and Giants. He also was an avid reader and car enthusiast. He was happiest when spending time with his children and dogs, riding his motorcycle around town, shopping, arguing over politics, and participating in the NRA. He was a provocative writer and wrote numerous letters to the editor, many of which were published in the CT Post. Funeral Information Funeral services will be private.
