Obituary of Vincent J. Tedesco

Vincent J. Tedesco, age 69, of Trumbull, a retired supervisor of 35 years for Clairol, Inc. of Stamford, died on Sunday, February 6, 2011, in St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Port Chester, NY, on March 31, 1941, he was a son of the late John and Mary Basso Tedesco and a U. S. Army veteran. Vinny was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was an avid golfer, who was fun to be around and could always make everyone laugh. He constantly showed a genuine love for people, and had the ability to make you feel special. To know him is to love him.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Anamaria Perez Tedesco; daughter, Margaret Judge and her husband David of Bridgeport; son, Stephen Tedesco and his wife Anne Marie of Stamford; three grandchildren who loved their Pop Pop dearly, Gregory, Emery and Hannah; brother, Bernard Tedesco and his wife Ann Marie of Port Chester, NY; his first wife, Mary Ann Stewart Tedesco of Stamford; sister-in-law, Patricia Mastrianni and her husband Arthur of Southbury as well as several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will take place on Thursday, February 10, 2011 at 8:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 9:30 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with military honors will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery of Easton, CT. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m.
