Obituary of Marguerite M. Talarino

Marguerite M. Talarino, the widow of Anthony J. Talarino, passed away at her home in Seminole, FL. She was 89 years of age. Born and raised in Fairfield, CT, Mrs. Talarino enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren. An active member of the Seminole Christian Fellowship Church in Seminole, she held both her family and faith closest to her. She was a talented acrylic and oil painter who also enjoyed reading, gardening and cooking. Mrs. Talarino was born on February 12, 1916, the daughter of Ippolito G. and Maria Theresa (Salvo) Iacovelli. She graduated from Fairfieldiana High School in 1935 and eventually married her husband of 48 years, Tony, an employee of General Electric, and raised their family in Fairfield prior to moving to Bridgeport. She was employed as a sales associate at Nydens Department Store and The Fairfield Store for 30 years.

Mrs. Talarino is survived by a sister, Rose Simpson of Seminole, FL; a brother, John Iacovelli of Bridgeport; three children: Philip Joseph Talarino, Sr., of Newark, CA; Barbara Joan (Talarino) Vitale, of Trumbull, CT; and Marie Theresa (Talarino) Orfino, of Seminole, FL; as well as numerous nieces and nephews throughout the country. She is predeceased by her husband, Tony, and two siblings, Isabelle Pilieri and Joseph Iacovelli. 

Funeral Services will take place at a time to be announced on Saturday, October 29, 2005 in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Daniels Farm Road, Trumbull. Friends may call on Friday, October 28, 2005 from 4-8 p.m.
