Obituary of Joseph A. Sullivano

Plumber for Local 777 with over 40 years of service Joseph A. Sullivano, Sr., age 89, of Trumbull, a retired plumber for Local 777 with over 40 years of service, died on Saturday, August 30, 2008 in St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport, he was a son of the late Michael and Adaline Nardi Sullivano. Mr. Sullivano was a U.S. Army World War II Veteran. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and clamming. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Margaret Mennillo Sullivano, three brothers, Anthony, Louis and Angelo, and a sister, Rose Sayles. Survivors include a son, Joseph A. Sullivano, Jr. and his wife, Patricia of Shelton, a daughter, Peggy Salerno and her husband, David of Milford, a sister, Ann Coyle of Bridgeport, four grandchildren, Catherine Murray and her husband Eric, Joseph Sullivano, Karyn Jacovino and her husband Kenneth and Nicole Salerno, three great grandchildren, Erica, Samantha and Maxwell Murray as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 11:00 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
