Obituary of Giovanna Stanczyk

Trumbull Resident Giovanna Stanczyk, age 83, of Trumbull, beloved wife of Edward Stanczyk, died peacefully on Thursday, August 5, 2010 in her home. Born in New York, NY on September 29, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Guiseppe and Providenza Magno Scelfo. Mrs. Stanczyk worked in the engineering department for ten years at Sikorsky Aircraft. Following her retirement, she enjoyed traveling, friendships, trips to the casino and gardening. In addition to her husband of 55 years, Mrs. Stanczyk is survived by nine nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Damian Scelfo.
