Obituary of Albert C. Sorchiotti

Formerly of Trumbull Albert C. Sorchiotti, age 97, formerly of Trumbull, died Saturday, April 10, 2010 in Davis Health Care, Wilmington, N. C. with his family by his side. Born in Stratford, on April 11, 1912, he was a son of the late Louis and Maria Sorchiotti. Albert was a retired Cement Mason and had worked for the Thomas and Hawley Construction Company. He enjoyed bowling, fishing and gardening and was pre-deceased by his wife, Helen Comandini Sorchiotti, and a sister, Lena Maholik. Mr. Sorchiotti is survived by two loving daughters, Jean Anstatt and her husband Peter J. of Wilmington, N.C. and Barbara Kuczynski and her husband William of, West Palm Beach, Fla and Stow, Ma. Four grandchildren, Peter and Leslie Kuczynski, Christopher Anstatt and Holley East. Seven great grandchildren. Funeral Information A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Mt. Grove Cemetery, Easton. Family and friends may call Wednesday 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
