Obituary of Yolanda M. Boyes

Resident of Stratford Yolanda M. Boyes, age 83 of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Robert H. Boyes, died peacefully on Tuesday January 17, 2012 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born on August 9, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Domenico DeGioia and Angelina Pinto. Mrs. Boyes was a retired bridal consultant for Buckners Bridal Salon, Hicksville, NY. Yolanda was a terrific fun loving and caring person who always loved a good party, champagne and her trips to the casino. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed. She was predeceased by her sister, Santina Rinaldi and two brothers Louis and Mario DiGioia. Survivors include two children, Stephen Sanetti and his wife Carole of Stratford, CT and Judy Blue of Miami, FL; three cherished grandchildren, Amen Blue, Christopher Sanetti and his wife Lisa, and Dana Sanetti; two adored great grandchildren, Daniela and Matthew; as well as many dear friends at Oronoque Village, where she has resided for the past eleven years. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Friday, January 20, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mark Church, Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will take place on Monday, January 23, 2012 in Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, Long Island, NY.
