Obituary of Alan Shove

Alan Shove, age 54, of Fairfield, died peacefully on Sunday, January 11, 2009 in Bridgeport Hospital. Alan was the son of late Kenneth and Ruth Shove, and spent years working with his friends at the Kennedy Center. He lived many years in CLASP Homes where he was treated with great compassion and much love. Alan loved participating in the Special Olympics and won many trophies. He was an avid swimmer and bowler. Survivors include his uncle, Hugh Pedersen of Easton, cousins, Eric Pedersen of Renfrew, PA and Dr. Neil Pedersen of Chapel Hill, N.C. 

Memorial services will take place on Friday, January 16, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
