Obituary of Frank L. Sekelsky

U. S. Army Veteran of World War II Frank L. Sekelsky, Jr., age 80, of Shelton, a retired supervisor for Superior Tibon Plating with over 40 years of service, died at his residence with his family by his side on Tuesday, July 18, 2006. Born in Stratford on November 10, 1925, he was a son of the late Frank and Helen Lesko Sekelsky, Sr. A U. S. Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of the VFW Post #9460. Survivors include his beloved wife of 56 years, Ida Comino Sekelsky, three children, Donna Cooney and her husband, William of Cheshire, Frank Sekelsky III and his wife, Geraldine of Springhill, FL and John Sekelsky and his wife, Leslie of Monroe, eight grandchildren, Bill, Mark and Mike Cooney, all of Cheshire, Jennifer Sekelsky of Springhill, FL, Frank Sekelsky, IV of Brooksville, FL, Wendy Sekelsky Floramo and her husband, Mark of Norwalk and Katie Sekelsky and Jake Sekelsky, both of Monroe, four great grandchildren, Julie, Deven, D. J. and Dominique, three brothers, Paul Sekelsky of Newington, Charles Sekelsky of Stratford and Raymond Sekelsky of Pennsylvania. He was pre-deceased by brothers, Edward and Henry Sekelsky. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Friday, July 21, 2006 at 9:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Jude Church, Monroe for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with military honors will follow in St. John Cemetery, Stratford.
