Obituary of Mary Scrivani

A Loving Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother Mary Genova Scrivani, age 88, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Ennio Scrivani, died on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 in Bishop Wicke Health Care Center. Born in Bridgeport on September 3, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Salvatore and Nancy Genova. A loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she dedicated her life to the care of her family and everyone who needed a hand. A devout Catholic, she was a former member of the Children of Mary at Holy Rosary Church and the Madonna Guild at St. Ambrose Church. Survivors include two sons, Ernest Scrivani and his wife Louise of North Haven, Peter Scrivani and his wife Diana of Milford and Marlene Scrivani of Milford, four grandchildren, Carmen Jacheo and his wife Allison, Gabriel Scrivani, Angela Maltes and her husband Jorge and Danielle Montini and her husband Christopher, seven great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff and caregivers at Bishop Wicke for their dedicated, compassionate care to Mary in her time there. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Friday, February 3, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Ambrose Church, 1596 Boston Ave., Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
