Obituary of Anna Schipani

Milford Resident Anna Falbo Schipani, age 69, of Milford, passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 in Yale New Haven Hospital. Born in Sersale, Province of Catanzaro, Calabria, Italy on February 10, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Maria Falbo. Mrs. Schipani was the devoted caregiver for her son Chris, a volunteer for the Milford Operation Mainstream and the Special Olympics. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Domenico Schipani, a brother, Giuseppe Falbo and a sister-in-law, Carolina Averta. Survivors include three children, Louis Schipani and his wife, Alina of Milford, Chris Schipani of West Haven and Joy Brienza and her husband, Charlie of Milford, two granddaughters, Gina and Sofia Brienza, a brother, Roberto Falbo and his wife Pina of Sersale, Italy, two sisters-in-law, Lina Regio and Anna Malvaso of Serra San Bruno, Italy as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in Christ the Redeemer Church, Milford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Kings Highway Cemetery, Milford.
