Obituary of John A. Samperi

Bridgeport Resident John Angelo Samperi, age 66, of Bridgeport, beloved husband of Ann Marie Amoroso Samperi, died on Friday, September 23, 2011 at St. Vincents Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. A lifelong resident of Bridgeport, John was born on May 8, 1945, and was a son of the late John James Samperi and Margaret Ann Sokody Samperi Kelly. He was a Foreman with the City of Bridgeport for over 30 years. In addition to his wife, survivors include four daughters; Tracy Baden and her husband Michael, Kelley Graham and her husband Michael, Melissa Samperi, Danielle Samperi and Craig Nichio, two sisters; Marie Pagliaro and Fred Heinzelman, Sandra Sinnott and Dennis Hoben, two brothers; Paul Kelly and his wife Tracey and Michael Kelly, four grandchildren; Zachary, Evan, Ella and Liam as well as Angela Razzano, a close family friend and several nieces and nephews.The family would like to thank the nurses at St. Vincents Hospital for their compassionate care of John and his family. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Andrew Church, 435 Anton St, Bridgeport, on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Committal will be private and at the convenience of the family. Friends may call on Monday from 5-8 p.m in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
