Obituary of John P. Sambursky

John P. (Boston John) Sambursky, age 74, of Bridgeport, a retired employee for Material Testing Co., died on Thursday, November 17, 2005 in Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Boston on September 19, 1931, he was a son of the late Frank and Lucy Vardaro. A Bridgeport resident since 1955, he was formerly employed by Sebas Painting Co., Fitzgerald Awning, Gaffney Plumbing and European II Painting.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 52 years, Jean Alibrandi Sambursky, his devoted daughter, Lucille Rouse and her husband, James, Jr. of Stratford, a brother, Felix Vardaro and his wife, Phyllis, a sister, Rosemary (Ro-Ro) Vardaro, all of Brockton, MA, two grandchildren, Brian Rouse and his wife, Michele and Matthew Rouse as well as several nieces and nephews from the Brockton, MA area. He was pre-deceased by three sisters, twins, Louise and Lucille and Marie Giannini. 

Funeral services will take place on Monday, November 21, 2005 at 9:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends may call on Sunday from 3-7 p.m.
