Obituary of Adeline Garcia

Resident of Shelton Adeline Garcia, age 94, of Shelton and formerly of Stamford for 48 years, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2009 surrounded by her family. Born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico on January 1, 1915, she was a daughter of the late Ramon and Beatriz Lopez Rovira. Adeline was pre-deceased by her husband of 36 years, Gerard Garcia, four brothers and two sisters. Survivors include her daughter, Beatrice Grabell of Shelton, a granddaughter, Elena Mayorga and her husband Walter of Bridgeport, two great grandchildren, Josue and Christian of Bridgeport and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Bridget of Ireland Church, 278 Strawberry Hill Ave., Stamford on Friday, December 18, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery, Darien. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
