Obituary of John C. Ross

Shelton Resident John (Bud) Ross, age 83, of Shelton, a retired tool and die maker for General Electric Co., died suddenly on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport, he was a son of the late Carmen and Catherine McCaughelty Ross and was a graduate of Central High School. Mr. Ross was a former Trumbull resident for many years and enjoyed singing, traveling and was an avid football fan. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Dorothy Costa Ross, a brother, Charles Ross and a sister, Catherine Kovalik. Survivors include his two devoted daughters, Linda Leo and her husband Joseph of St. Johns, FL and Diane Allegra and her husband Stephen of Shelton, four grandchildren, Adam and Nicole Leo and Stephen Jr. and Alexander Allegra, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Information A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. meeting directly in St. Lawrence Church, Shelton. Interment will follow in Nichols Village Cemetery, Trumbull. There will be no calling hours. The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, has been entrusted with arrangements.
