Obituary of Isaura Rosa
Isaura Vicencio Rosa, age 84, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Anibal Rosa, died peacefully on Friday, March 25, 2011 in St. Vincents Medical Center with her loving family by her side. Born in Pedrario, Portugal on February 25, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Manuel and Maximina Vicencio and came to the U. S. in 1966. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister who will be sadly missed. Survivors include five devoted children, Fernanda Jorge and her husband Amadeu of Bridgeport, Jack Rosa of Trumbull, Eli Rosa and his wife Rose Marie, Manny Rosa, all of Bridgeport and Maria Vaszil and her husband Robert of Stratford, a sister, Alice Esteves of Bridgeport, seven cherished grandchildren, Sherry, Robert, Toni, David, Eli Jr., Brian and Nicholas, five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a sister, Arminda Esteves. Funeral Information
Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at 8:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 9:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the Garden Mausoleum of St. Michael Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 5-8 p.m.
