Obituary of Joan C. Bottillo

Loving Mother & Grandmother Joan C. Rogers Bottillo age 79, of Fairfield, beloved wife of the late Emanuel A. Bottillo, died peacefully on Saturday August 21, 2010 in Lord Chamberlain Health Care Center. Born in Bridgeport on May 24, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Terrence and Frances McKenna Rogers. Joan was a loving mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed. She was predeceased by a brother, Robert Rogers and three sisters, Mary Weller, Elizabeth Ward and Sally Mitchell. Survivors include two loving daughters, Gail Bottillo and her fiance Richard Giunta of Trumbull and Robin Anderson and her husband Evan of Stratford, four cherished grandchildren Paul and Victoria Ohegyi and Connor and Tia Anderson, a brother William Rogers of Nevada, and a sister Frances McDonough of Trumbull. She is also survived by several brother and sisters-in-law as well as several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff of Lord Chamberlain for the professionalism and care provided for Mrs. Bottillo during their time of need. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Tuesday August 24, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Margaret Shrine, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michaels Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Monday from 4-8 p.m.
