Obituary of Louis Bailey

Louis (Storky) Bailey, age 83, beloved husband of 62 years to the late Carmella (Dorothy) Lombardi Bailey, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at home with his loving family by his side. Born in Fairfield on August 10, 1928, he was a son of the late Frank and Rose Antal Bailey and was a longtime resident of Trumbull. A U. S. Marine Corps veteran he was a member of the Teamsters Local 191, working for West End Moving & Storage for over 35 years. Having grown up in Fairfield he enjoyed his yearly reunions with the Tunxis Hill Boys. After his retirement he spent much of his time with his Marine Corp and long time friend Charlie Guerra at his shop, Sport Hill Lawn Mower Service Station. Louis was a loving father and will be deeply missed. Survivors include a daughter, Diane Bailey of Bridgeport, a son, Louis F. Bailey and his wife Donna of Trumbull, brothers, Frank and James Bailey, both of Florida, a special brother-in-law, Frank Lombardi and his wife Mary Ann, a sister-in-law, Barbara Lombardi of Florida, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Elizabeth Phillip and a nephew, Mark Phillip. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Monday, February 6, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Raphael Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with military honors will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
