Obituary of Walter A. Radomski

World War II Veteran Walter A. Radomski, age 90, of Trumbull, beloved husband of Alfreda Rozycki Radomski, died on Monday, December 28, 2009 in Ludlowe Health Care Center, Fairfield. Born in Bridgeport on September 21, 1919, he was a son of the late Walter and Sophie Wojciewska Radomski. A U. S. Army veteran of World War II, Mr. Radomski served in Africa and England and was part of the D-Day invasion. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10059 of Trumbull, CT. Mr. Radomski was a retired printer for Warner Packaging with 49 years of service. In addition to his wife of 54 years, survivors include two sisters-in-law, Sophie Radomski of Easton and Estelle Adamkiewicz of Metairie, LA, nieces, Barbara Pezzullo and her husband John of Trumbull, Patricia Stebbins and her husband Bob of Harwich, MA, Dianne Brown and her husband Randy of Slidell, LA, Irene Bozogan and her husband John of Lakewood, NY, Marian Radomski and Virginia Radomski, both of Monroe, Rita Shepard of Bridgeport, a nephew, Dr. Thomas Jaski and his wife Peggy of Rutherfordton, NC as well as many great nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by two brothers, Edward and Martin Radomski and a sister Pauline Jaski. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the second floor staff at Ludlowe Health Care Center. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Saturday, January 2, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 11:00 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment to follow at the Pilgrimage Mausoleum in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends may call on Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
