Obituary of Carmella Bailey

Resident of Trumbull Carmella (Dorothy) Lombardi Bailey, age 84, beloved wife of Louis Bailey of Trumbull passed away peacefully on January 3, 1012 at home with her loving family by her side. Born in Bridgeport on December 4, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Frances Havanick Lombardi and was a longtime resident of Trumbull. Dorothy enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She was an avid bowler and loved her yearly trips to Las Vegas and the Sunday pinochle games. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her, especially all her friends at Nutmeg Bowl. In addition to her husband Louis of 62 years, survivors include a daughter, Diane Bailey of Bridgeport, a son, Louis F. Bailey and his wife Donna of Trumbull, a brother Frank J. Lombardi, Jr., and his wife MaryAnn of Bridgeport, an aunt, Anna Havanick Jakubowski of Trumbull, several nieces, a great niece, a great nephew, a sister-in-law, Barbara Lombardi of FL and a special cousin, Lucy Sency of MA. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Monday, January 9, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St Margaret Shrine Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
