Obituary of Loretta Puteri

Loretta Giasullo Puteri, age 78, formerly of Trumbull, beloved wife of Louis Puteri, died peacefully on Monday, April 25, 2011 with her loving family by her side. Born in Bridgeport on March 18, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Salvatore and Rose Foresi Giasullo. She was one of the first and youngest licensed female insurance brokers in Connecticut. Along with her husband, she operated the L. P. Agency of Bridgeport. She was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be sadly missed. She was predeceased by a daughter Frances DiLauro. In addition to Louis, her devoted husband of 42 years, survivors include her loving children, Lori Sando and her husband Frank of Milford, Louis R. Puteri and his wife Herling of Florida, Geraldine Payden of Southbury, Lynn Mainiero and her husband David of Florida and Liza Mangini and her husband Jon of California, a son-in-law, Vincent DiLauro of Shelton, a brother, Salvatore Giasullo of Florida, 14 cherished grandchildren, six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull on Friday, April 29, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
