Obituary of Mary Puglisi

October 21, 2007 Resident of Stratford Mary Pauline Dattilo Puglisi of Stratford has entered into eternity to join her beloved husband George. Mary was born in Bridgeport and attended Harding High School. Mary was first employed at the Canfield Rubber Plant and later spent many years as a sales person for the Levitts Department Store. Mary was a Girl Scout leader, past president of the Ladies Trinacria Society, past president of the Ladies UNICO and a member of the Italian Scholarship Committee. Mary served the community with her involvement in YMCA Woodend Homes Project. In her 80s, she and her husband George volunteered for the Stratford Meals on Wheels. After moving to Middlebrook Farms, Mary became an active member of the Red Hat Society. Mary has been a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Stratford and Holy Rosary Church in Bridgeport. Mary is survived by her son Horace Puglisi and his partner Theresa Chun, both of Randolph, VT, daughter Rosemary Carson and her husband David of Newtown, CT, four grandchildren, Janeanne Carson Allard, Lori Carson Rogers, Heather Puglisi and Carrie Puglisi, six great grandchildren, Brianna Allard, Jessica Allard, Abigail Rogers, Edmund Rogers, Spencer Roger and Max Inserro. She is also survived by a brother, Michael Dattilo and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Thursday, October 25, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
