Obituary of Lilian E. Plasic

Bridgeport Resident Lilian E. Plasic, of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, November 10, 2007. She was the devoted daughter of the late Grace and Alfred Plasic and a niece of the former Bpt. Fire Chief and Mrs. Martin Hayden. Lilian graduated from Russell Sage College and received her masters from the University of Bridgeport. She was a retired teacher from Harding High School, her alma mater. Lilian was a life long parishioner at St Charles Church, a Life Member of the Greater Bridgeport Retired Teachers Association, and a member the Southern Connecticut Chapter of the Russell Sage Alumni Association. She was grateful for her wonderful neighbors, Bernd and Joanne, and Betsy and Eddie, as well as her compassionate caretakers, Donna, Karen, Barbara, Celia, Eva and Laurel who helped her spend her years in her home. She is survived by her goddaughter, Pamela Howard, several cousins including her special cousin, Carol Ketcham of Vt., and many dear friends. Funeral Information At her request, there will be no calling hours. Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Charles of Borromeo Church, 1279 East Main St., Bridgeport on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
