Obituary of Barbara Pizzuto

Barbara Freistock Pizzuto, age 73, of Southington, a homemaker, died on Tuesday, November 15, 2005 in Southington Care Center. Born in Bridgeport on August 13, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Hross Freistock and was a former Trumbull resident for 31 years before moving to Southington. She was a graduate of Harding High School, class of 1950.

She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband, William Pizzuto.

She will be greatly missed by her four children, Nancy Roberts and her husband, Ken of Stratford, Susan Pizzuto of Southington, William Pizzuto and his wife, Elizabeth of Enfield and Laura Coppola and her husband, James of Ansonia, three grandchildren, Amy Roberts, Andrew Pizzuto and Jacob Pizzuto, as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff of Southington Care Center and Dr. Craig Bogdanski, D. O. 

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, November 19, 2005 at 9:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Friday from 4-8 p.m.
