Obituary of Mario M. Pirozzoli

U. S. Air Force Veteran Mario M. Pirozzoli, age 85, of Hamden and formerly of Trumbull, husband of 56 years of Josephine DeGruttola Pirozzoli, passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2007. Born in Foggia, Italy on July 22, 1922, he was a son of the late Alfred and Rosina Pirozzoli and a U. S. Air Force veteran who served in World War II. Mr. Pirozzoli was employed by the town of Monroe for 20 years. In addition to his wife, he leaves behind his two sons, Mario Jr. of Berlin, CT and Ronald and his wife Janice of Hamden, a brother, Michael Pirozzoli of Fairfield and four grandchildren, Amanda, Victoria, Alyssa and Christian. He was pre-deceased by his brother Michael Pirozzoli and a sister Ida Pelham. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Monday, October 22, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in Christ the King Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
