Obituary of Leonarda A. Patrick

Resident of Stratford Leonarda A. Tubera Patrick, age 68, of Stratford, died on Saturday, July 19, 2008 in Bridgeport Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Bangui, Ilocos Norte Philippines on February 17, 1940 she was a daughter of the late Remegio and Rosa Acido Tubera. She was an expert seamstress in Canada from 1980-1990 and then for Warnaco and most recently with Joyce Baron of JB Design. Survivors include her husband, William R. Patrick, Sr., two step daughters, Lisa Szuch and her husband John and Leslie Moyher, all of Seymour, four brothers, Vicente Tubera and his wife Alfe of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Jaimi Tubera and his wife Soeling of Carson, CA and Rick and Dolpo Tubera, both of the Philippines, four sisters, Cela Balmaceda, Florinda Tubera and Lena Bautista, all of the Philippines and Manuela Laguyo of Australia, four brothers-in-law, Raymond Patrick and his wife Doris of Bridgeport, Ronald Patrick of Oxford, George Patrick and his wife, Patricia of Southington and Richard Patrick and his wife Diane of North Port, Florida, five grandchildren, Cameron and Colin Szuch and Talia, Kyle and Evan Moyher as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly in St. James Church, 2110 Main St., Stratford on Thursday, July 24, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
