Obituary of Vito J. Fusco

U.S. Army Veteran Vito J. Fusco, age 85, of Bridgeport, beloved husband of Connie Falango Fusco, died peacefully on Friday October 14, 2011 at his home surrounded by his family. Born in Bridgeport on December 11, 1925, he was a son of the late Vincent and Marie Ricci Fusco. A U.S. Army Veteran of World War II, Vito was the retired owner and operator of the Stratfield Garage and Service Center of Bridgeport for over 40 years. He was a lifetime member of the East End Yacht Club and the CT Balsa Bugs RC Flying Club. A model airplane enthusiast, he enjoyed building RC World War II airplanes and donated a giant scale Corsair model plane to the Stratford Airplane and Restoration Museum. In addition to his wife Connie of 64 years, survivors include, three children; Vincent Fusco of Stratford, Deborah Moulton of Bridgeport and Kenneth Fusco and his wife Karen of Seymour, six grandchildren; Vincent, Louis, Gina and Jennifer Fusco, Donna and Christopher Moulton, two great grandsons; Jasper and Geoffrey and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Dominic Ruggiero and two sisters, Rita Dancho and Marie Traverse. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Monday October 17, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 12:00 Noon in St. Andrew Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Long Hill Burial Grounds, Trumbull. Friends may call on Monday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
