Obituary of Vera Palazzo

Resident of Stratford Vera Pagliarulo Palazzo, age 90, of Stratford, a home maker, died on Saturday, November 28, 2009 at the home of her devoted daughter and care giver surrounded by her loving family. Born in Italy on October 9, 1919, she was a daughter of the late Salvatore and Frances Ravalese Pagliarulo. She was a past member of the St. Theresa Guild of Holy Rosary Church. Mrs. Palazzo was predeceased by her beloved husband, Frank, and two sisters, Rose Misurale andSylvia Verrilli. Survivors include a son, John Palazzo and his wife Marilyn of West Haven, her beloved daughter, Silvia Cassese and her husband Vincent of Stratford, three grandchildren, John Anthony Palazzo, Dante Palazzo and his wife Kristina and Jennifer Merola and her husband John, three great grandchildren, Emily, Julia and Jack Henry, a brother, Patsy Pagliarulo and his wife Patricia of Trumbull and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Nancy Prusak of Hospice and Lynn Kinross of Family Care for the devoted care they gave. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly in Our Lady of Grace Church, 497 Second Hill Lane, Stratford on Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at 10 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the Garden Mausoleum of St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. At the request of the family, there will be no calling hours.
