Obituary of Mary Ott

Mary Bryers Ott, age 86, a homemaker, of Bridgeport, died on Saturday, February 26, 2005 at St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport, she was a daughter of the late George and Mary Ellen Booth Bryers, and was a city resident for many years. Mrs. Ott was a member of the Success Village Senior Center, St. Ambrose Seniors, the Baldwin Center, the Raymond Goldbach VFW Post Auxiliary, as well as the Over 50 Club.

She was pre-deceased by her husband, F. Lincoln Ott, and three brothers, George, Edward, and James Bryers.

Survivors include a son, Robert Ott of Averill Park, NY, a daughter, Ellen McAuliffe, and her husband Dennis of Shelton, two sisters, Alice Goodfellow of Fairfield, and Lillian Purinton of Wethersfield; four grandchildren, Chris, Dawn and her husband Jason, Jason and his fiance Kathy and Kailyn; two great-grandchildren, Samantha and Tyler, and many nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, March 2, 2005 at 9 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10 a.m. in St. Ambrose Church, Bridgeport, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in St. Michael Mausoleum, Stratford.
