Obituary of Florence Olivia

Former Trumbull Resident Olivia Florence DeBone Olivia, age 94, of Trumbull, died on Friday, April 6, 2007 at the Ludlowe Center, Fairfield. Born in Norwalk, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Rose Vena DeBone. Florence was predeceased by her beloved husband, Charles J. Olivia, a son, Charles A. Olivia, a daughter, Shirley O. Sportini and grandsons, Kenneth Volpe and Brad Sportini. Mrs Olivia was a former volunteer at St. Joseph Manor, Trumbull and she enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing and painting. Survivors include a son, Ronald Olivia of Sugarland, TX, three daughters, Sandra Volpe of Pocono Pines, PA, Mary Ellen Mason of Monroe and Karen Olivia of San Antonio, TX, a brother, Anthony DeBone of Norwalk, two sisters, Josephine Cascella of Trumbull and Helen Salamone of Norwalk, nine grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Wednesday April 11, 2007 at 9 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10 a.m. in St. Jude Church, Monroe for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
