Obituary of Helen O'Connor

Helen Koch O'Connor, age 90, of Trumbull, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2005. She was born in Port Chester, New York on October 4, 1914 to the late William and Helene Koch. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Kenneth O'Connor, Sr., her step-father, Oscar Jones, two sisters, Elizabeth and Florence and a brother, Russell. From 1952 until their retirement to Florida in 1968, she and her husband owned East Side Florist in Bridgeport. She returned to Bridgeport in 1997 and resided at the Bishop Curtis Homes in Bridgeport before moving to Trumbull in 2003.

She is survived by sons, Kenneth O'Connor and his wife, Janice of Trumbull and Dennis O'Connor and his wife, Janine of Attleboro, Massachusetts, as well as five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren plus several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will take place on Monday, March 21, 2005 at 9:30 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:30 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in St. Petersburg, Florida. Friends may call on Sunday from 3-6 p.m.
