Obituary of Emilio Ricardo Natera

Shelton Resident Emilio Ricardo Natera, age 70, of Shelton and formerly of Norwalk and Fairfield, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 7, 2007 at Yale New Haven Hospital. Born in Chihuahua, Mexico on June 4, 1936, he was a son of the late Emilio Natera and Ma. Elena Rey Natera. A graduate of the Universidad Autonoma de Mexico, he received a degree in Public Accounting. Mr. Natera was the comptroller for the General Board of Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church, National Division. An avid competition shooter, Emilio was a endowment member of the NRA and was a member of the Bridgeport and Ansonia gun clubs. He also attended the Mata Bassett Club. Emilio was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother and will be sadly missed by all. Survivors include his devoted wife of 39 years, Virginia M. Garcia Natera, five loving children, Ed Natera and Georgette Natera both of Shelton, Hector Natera of Fairfield, Sergio Natera of Bridgeport and Jessica Natera of Fairfield, a brother, Jorge Natera of Cancun Mexico, two sisters, Lourdes Kaler and her husband Arthur of Corpus Christi TX, Guillermina Natera of Mexico City, Mexico, seven cherished grandchildren, Sage, Emily, Ethan, Spencer, Ella, Matthew and Kaylee and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet DIRECTLY in St Lawrence Church, 505 Shelton Ave. Shelton, on Friday April 13, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
