Obituary of Carol Anne Murzin
Our beloved mother, Carol Anne Cavaliere Murzin died peacefully on Wednesday, June 9, 2004 in St. Vincent Medical Center surrounded by her children. Born on September 29, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Anna Esposito Cavaliere. At the age of 57, she was a proud lifelong Bridgeport resident. Carol worked for Warner Packaging as a timekeeper before working for many years in the food industry, working at High Horizons, High on the Hog, Smergalinos and Ricks Italian Deli. She also devoted 20 years to the Boy Scouts of America, Pack #32, Saganaw district Fairfield County Council serving as den leader, pack leader and district round table delegate. Carol also won a District Award of Merit for exceptional service. Her love, laughter and generosity to all who crossed her path will be genuinely missed until we meet again in our Fathers house.
She was mother, father and best friend to her three children, Keith Murzin and his fiancee, Jennifer Hauge, Michael Murzin and Toniann Murzin-Borucki and her husband, Joseph, all of Bridgeport. The light of Carols life was her three grandchildren, Christina Rodrigues, Joseph Borucki, III and Alannah Borucki. She also leaves behind a brother, Anthony Babe Cavaliere and his wife, Sharon of Stratford and a sister, Marilyn Cavaliere of Bridgeport. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Andrew Church, 435 Anton St., Bridgeport on Friday, June 11, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
