Obituary of Terrence E. Murphy

Terrence (Murph) Edward Murphy, age 60, of Bridgeport, son of the late Edward H. and Theresa C. (Thornton) Murphy entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 20, 2008. Born in Bridgeport and raised in Trumbull, Terry was a lifelong area resident. He had worked for Remington Products Company for 20 years through 2004, Nutmeg Bowl in Fairfield for the past 18 years and was also an employee of Standard Oil Company. He will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather and will be greatly missed for his sense of humor and his wonderful personality. Terry is survived by his daughter, Marissa of West Haven, his son, Jarrod and his daughter-in-law Monette of Fairfax, VA, two grandchildren, Lennox and Riley, foster daughter, Joanne Elliott and her husband Kevin and sons, Allan and Jonjay of Holyoke, MA as well as his many friends from Nutmeg Bowl. Funeral Information Friends can greet the family on Thursday, April 24, 2008 from 4-8 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. All other services will be private at the convenience of the family. Donations Information In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family through the funeral director.
