Obituary of Maria Mosco

Resident of Trumbull Maria Oliva Maurati Mosco, age 53, of Trumbull, beloved wife of Leonard Mosco, died on Friday, February 11, 2011 in Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Torrice, Province of Frosinone, Italy on September 28, 1957, she was a daughter of Lucia Marini Maurati of Trumbull and the late Emilio Maurati. Maria was a buyer for Gess Wein Distributors. She enjoyed knitting, sewing and crocheting and made clothes for the family. She could often be found gardening and tending to the flowers in her yard. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter and sister and aunt who will be deeply missed. In addition to her devoted husband of 27 years, Leonard, and mother, Lucia, survivors include her loving son, Leonard G. Mosco Jr. of Trumbull, three brothers and a sister, Antonio Maurati and his wife Gina of Shelton, Fiorella Mallone and her husband Loreto of Trumbull, Bernardino Maurati and his wife Charlene of Shelton and Quirino Maurati and his wife Carole of Milford as well several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Monday from 4-8 p.m.
