Obituary of Michael L. Minotti

Resident of Bridgeport Michael L. Minotti Sr., age 81, of Bridgeport, a retired engineer from Bridgeport Machines, died suddenly on Friday, August 15, 2008 at his residence. Born in Bridgeport on August 25, 1926, he was a son of the late Anthony and Eleanor Cavaliere Minotti. Mr. Minotti was a gunners mate in the U. S. Navy during World War II and was a Purple Heart recipient. After his retirement, he was a graduate of the New York Culinary Institute and worked at Bettys Bake Shop in Bridgeport for many years. Survivors include his wife Margaret Soares Minotti, two sons Michael L. Minotti Jr. and his wife Tiffany of Branford and Mark Minotti and his wife Mary of North Haven, a daughter Terry Ann Minotti of Bridgeport, his sister Margherita Hunt of Bridgeport and five grandchildren, Mark, Michael, Tina, Paul and Donna as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Andrew Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
