Obituary of Natalino Minardo

Resident of Shelton Natalino (Sam) Minardo, age 80, of Shelton, a retired employee for Sikorsky Aircraft died on Thursday, June 14, 2007 in Lord Chamberlain Health Care Center. Born in Bridgeport on October 3, 1926, he was a son of the late Carlo and Carmella Rosa Minardo. A Shelton resident for 12 years, he was a member of the Sikorsky Friendship Club, an avid duck pin bowler and a big fan of the New York Yankees. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Constance Rosso Minardo, a son, Richard Minardo of Shelton, a daughter, Dianne Minardo, of Waterbury, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by two brothers, James and Michael Minardo and a sister Rose Packo. The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Dominic Casablanca and the caregivers at Griffin Hospital, First Floor North. Funeral Information Family and friends are invited to meet directly in St. Lawrence Church, 505 Shelton Ave., Shelton on Saturday, June 16, 2007 at 9:30 a.m for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
