Obituary of Louis E. Faiella

U. S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II Louis E. Faiella, Sr., age 84, of Trumbull and formerly of Bridgeport, beloved husband of the late Marion Mutt Bottillo Faiella died on Sunday, April 1, 2012 at St. Vincent Medical Center with his loving family by his side. Born in Bridgeport on March 16, 1928, he was a son of the late Salvatore and Anna Cardinale Faiella. A U. S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II, he was a baker at the Nancy Lynn Bakery and Country Home Bakery until his retirement. Mr. Faiella was dedicated to the love and care of his family and enjoyed woodworking, travel and gardening. Survivors include his fiance, Hazel Cennamo of Trumbull, his loving children, Mary Lou Trudell and her husband Gary of Monroe, Louis E. Faiella, Jr. and his wife Corinne of Wallingford and Philip Faiella Sr. and his wife Flora of Durham, six grandchildren, Louis E. Faiella III and his fiance Yesenia Vargas, Briana Trudell, Cindi Faiella-Kenyon and her husband Jeff, Philip Faiella Jr. and Theresa Weimann, Christopher Faiella and Zachary Faiella, a great granddaughter, Nahimiana Faiella, three brothers, Philip Faiella and his wife Jennie of Bridgeport, Mario (Tony) Faiella of North Carolina and Salvatore Faiella of Florida, a sister, Madeline Altieri of Arizona, a sister-in-law, Dottie Faiella of North Carolina, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a brother Val Faiella. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Margaret Shrine, Bridgeport for a Reading of the Liturgy of the Word. Interment with full military honors will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m.
