Obituary of Joseph W. Christiano

Joseph W. Christiano, age 75, of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 8, 2011 at the Lord Chamberlain Manor in Stratford with his family by his side. Born in Bridgeport on January 14, 1936, he was a son of the late Joseph and Carmella Piccirillo Christiano and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was the former owner and operator of the Corner Spirit Shop in Westport and was a retired school teacher from the Town of Monroe with 19 years of dedicated service. He was a loving father and grandfather who had a great sense of humor and he will be deeply missed.

Survivors include two loving children, a son, Joseph W. Christiano III of Bridgeport, a daughter, Lee Ann Lee of Trumbull, a cherished granddaughter, Emily Lee, his former spouse of 42 years, Mary A. Cavaliere Christiano of Stratford as well as many cousins and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Antoinette Miko.

Private family funeral services were conducted by the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
