Obituary of Rose Riccio Gleason

Beloved Wife, Cherished Mother Rose Riccio Gleason, age 64, of Trumbull, devoted wife of Howard Gleason, died peacefully on Sunday April 29, 2012 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born on April 8, 1948 in Castelfranco, Province of Miscano, Italy, she was a daughter of the late Matteo and Giovannina Riccio. A graduate of the National Academy of Hair in Bridgeport, she was formerly employed by Act One of Westport, with 40 years of dedicated service. She truly enjoyed her trade and the many lasting friendships she gained through her work. She was an avid gardener and traveler and thoroughly enjoyed her trips to the casino. Above all however, she was a devoted wife and loving mother who put the care and love of her family first. In addition to her loving husband of 42 years, Howard, survivors include her cherished daughter, Jennine Gleason of Trumbull, three brothers, Michael Riccio and his wife Antoinette, Joseph Riccio and his wife Kathy and Pasquale Riccio and his wife Louann, a sister, Lorie Buzzanca and her husband Joe, all of Trumbull, sister-in-law, Marcella Durden and her husband Andrew of Trumbull and brothers-in-law, Jack Gleason and his wife Tracy also of Trumbull and Charlie Gleason of Monroe; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Wednesday May 2, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in Christ the King Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the St. Monica Mausoleum of Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
