Lifelong Bridgeport Resident Frances Annunziata Sorrentino, age 93, beloved wife of the late Anthony J. Sorrentino Sr., died peacefully on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at her home with her loving family by her side. Born in Bridgeport on February 5, 1919, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Mary DAgostino Annunziata. A lifelong city resident, Mrs. Sorrentino was a Hostess Supervisor at 3030 Park. Survivors include her loving children, Michael Sorrentino and his fiance Denise Turecek of Shelton, Anthony Sorrentino Jr. and his wife Teecia of Stratford, Joseph Sorrentino and his wife Linda of Stratford and Robert Sorrentino and his wife Diane of Bridgeport, cherished grandchildren, Kimberly Pollman and her husband John, Kenneth Sorrentino and his wife Dawn, Michael Sorrentino Jr. and his wife Keyla, Dina Capone and her husband Rob, Robert Jr., Vincent and Anthony Sorrentino and Stephanie Rodrigues, treasured great-grandchildren, Kenny Jr., Victoria and Nicholas Sorrentino, Sophia and Samantha Rodrigues, Bobby, Nicholas and Maddalena Capone, Gabriela and Luciana Sorrentino and Kayla Pollman as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her sister, Theresa Beil. The family would like to thank the staff at Vitas Hospice for all their care and compassion. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:30 a.m. in St. Andrew Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Mt. Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport.
