Obituary of Paul J. Sideleau

Resident of Shelton Paul J. Sideleau Sr., age 79, beloved husband of Carmella D. Ferrante Sideleau, of Shelton, passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2012 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Norwalk on June 19, 1932, Mr. Sideleau was a son of the late Paul and Alice LaRochelle Sideleau. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving in World War II. Before his retirement he was a baker with Whole Foods and formerly a plant manager at the Grand Union Snack Food Plant. He was an avid Yankee fan, a hard worker who never missed a day of work and dedicated to his family. In addition to his wife of Carmella of 58 years, survivors include three children, Paul Sideleau and his wife Dawn of Huntington, Joseph Sideleau and his wife Jody of Stratford, Mary Sideleau Trzcinski and Dan Trzcinski of Huntington, seven grandchildren, Paul Sideleau and his wife Sarah, April Mignone and her husband Ryan, Craig, Tara, Jenny and Joy Sideleau, and Brianna Trzcinski, four great grandchildren, Anthony, Allysa, Joshua and Faith as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Richard and Arthur Sideleau, a sister, Alma Stahl and two great grandsons, Jonathan and Lucas. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:30 a.m. in St. Jude Church Monroe, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with military honors will follow in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m.
