Obituary of Carol J. Corridor

Carol J. Corridor, age 76, of Shelton, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2026 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford. Born in Stamford, CT on April 6, 1950, Carol was a force of nature. She never missed an opportunity to wear a silly holiday hat or a light-up necklace, and she thrived on making those around her laugh. If you invited her to a party, she'd tell you she'd be there with bells on and then she'd arrive…with bells on. If you met her, you never forgot her.

While she enjoyed her work as a data analyst, Carol lived to have fun. She loved tanning on the beach, playing slots at the casino, shopping for just about anything, and screaming at the TV when her beloved Yankees and Golden State Warriors were playing. Her greatest joys in life were traveling with her partner, Keith, and spending time with her grandchildren, Nora and Owen.

She is survived by her longtime partner, Keith Anderson, her daughter and son-in-law, Laci and Dan Bergeron, her grandchildren Nora and Owen, her sisters June Corridor and Jane Dowty, and her nephews Brandon and Brett Dowty and their families.

She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Jennie (Bacco) Corridor and her beloved brother-in-law Todd Dowty.

Friends may greet the family on Saturday, August 29, 2026 from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. A funeral service will take place at 10:30 a.m. followed by interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Oncology Patient Assistance - Swim Across The Sound Fund. https://giving.stvincents.org/donate/ To leave an online condolence, visit www.abriola.com
