Obituary of Joan E. Keogh
Joan E. (Studley) Keogh, age 87, of Trumbull passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 5, 2026 at Mozaic Senior Life in Bridgeport. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert F. Keogh. Born in Bridgeport on April 20, 1939, she was a daughter of the late C. Raymour and Lorraine (Poland) Studley. In addition to raising four children, Joan worked as an administrative assistant in the executive offices at 3030 Park Ave and both the R&D and Legal departments at Unilever (formerly Ragu). She was always happiest when surrounded by family and friends and she used any excuse to throw a party. From birthday parties to graduations, workplace luncheons and holidays, Joan was the hospitality queen. Her Christmas Eve parties were epic. As much as she loved to celebrate others, Joan was always the first one there to help a family member, friend, or anyone in need. Her generosity and compassion for others were a beautiful trademark for all who knew her.
Joan’s grand and great grandchildren were her pride and joy and her life centered around being involved in theirs. She never missed an opportunity to support them, whether it was cheering at the Wallingford or Trumbull little league games, basketball games, school events, or shopping - she loved spending time with them, especially as she was often accompanied by her dear, late friend and fellow Grandma, Connie Ferrara. She was happiest when taking care of others. A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend of many, she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her loving daughters, Lorraine Keogh of Stratford, Carol Keogh of Trumbull, Marie Keogh of Trumbull, loving daughter-in-law, Susan Keogh of Wallingford, cherished grandchildren, T.R. Keogh (Stephanie) Ryan Keogh (Kaitlyn), Justin Keogh (Corry), Randi Keogh-Winslow (Ellie), Shawn Keogh (Jessica) and Sydney Keogh (Dante Criscio), her adored great grandchildren, Nahla, Landon, Lola, Delilah, Jack and Jameson, her sister, Barbara Studley (Sr. Lorraine, IHM) of Scranton, PA, her sisters-in-law, Maribeth Studley and Kathy Fazzone, her brother-in-law, Peter Keogh and his wife, Lil as well as all of her dear nieces, nephews, and cousins, Shirley Mallory of Florida (her friend of over 70 years) and many other friends. In addition to her husband Robert, she was also recently predeceased by her son Timothy Keogh (“the Golden Boy”) and her brother, Robert Studley.
The family would like to thank the caring and dedicated staff of Mozaic Senior Life in Bridgeport and Helen DeBernardo for the love and laughs while caring for Joan at home.
