Obituary of Robert R. Storms Jr.

Robert R. Storms, Jr., age 71, of Trumbull, beloved husband of Alice (Kocher) Storms, passed away peacefully at Bridgeport Hospital on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Buffalo, New York on September 19, 1954, he was a son of the late Robert R. Storms, Sr. and Doris Aldrich Storms and was a longtime Trumbull resident before moving to Milford.

Robert was a Master Home Builder and Owner of Storms Construction Company for 46 years building beautiful homes around Connecticut, New York and Maine. His dedication to his craft was unparalleled. Robert enjoyed learning to fly airplanes and cruising in his boat. He was a loving Father and Grandfather.

In addition to his beloved wife Alice, survivors include his loving children, Russell Guerin and his partner Stephen Flanagan, Richard Guerin, Christina McClain and her husband Matthew, Robert R. Storms III and his wife Wendy and a step daughter, Traci Paniccia and her husband Juan, a brother, Jerry Storms and a sister, Sherri Brenner and her husband John and his cherished grandchildren, Ethan, Emmett, Jordan, Stephanie, Ricky, Finn and step grandchildren, Letty and Charli as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Gary Storms.

Relatives and friends can greet the family members at a Celebration of Robert's Life that will take place on Friday, June 19, 2026 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull with a prayer service to be held at 6:00 p.m.
