I was blessed to grow up with The Pultz family- (my Dad and 'Neil senior' were best friends- Dad had him permanently on his 'rolladex of sentimental stories' for decades) In 1966, David, Neil and Kevin invited me over for a crazy sleepover at their grandmother's house.. I STILL remember it to this day- lots of laughs and fun..(which I needed at the time) ..A Pultz family trademark has always been lots of warmth and kindness..During that memorable visit-It was David and his brothers who introduced me to Baskin Robbins! Later-after attending St Mary HS together, the last time I saw David was joyfully singing & playing his guitar at 'Bits & Pieces'- right next to Pastrami Dan's..Its funny the things you remember- the song I last heard him sing was an emotion-packed version of "Almost cut my hair' by C,S,N & Y!..The Connollys are thinking and praying for comfort for our lifetime friends, The Pultzes during this difficult time! We love you'all!!

I am a long-term resident of Maefair Health as David was. He never looked like someone who deserved better. He was so brave and grateful to be alive, even with his illness. I am disappointed in myself for not spending more time with him, but I was embarrassed when I couldn't understand what he was trying to say. I will think of him often and remember him just mouthing the word Hi. Thank you God for letting me know David.

Regina, thank you for your condolences. You're absolutely right about David. He was one of the bravest people I've known. He never complained despite all his suffering. It's an honor to call him my brother.
