Obituary of Jennie Esposito

Resident of Naples, Florida Jennie Pellegrino Esposito, age 91, beloved wife of the late Dr. Joseph Esposito, passed away peacefully at her home in Naples, Florida on Wednesday, May 24, 2006. Jennie was the daughter of the late Italia and Ernesto Pellegrino. She graduated from the University of Bridgeport and the Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing, and was a Public Health Nurse for the City of Bridgeport. She was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker who volunteered many hours of service to the Bridgeport Hospital Auxiliary and the Red Cross. Jennie was an avid golfer at Brooklawn Country Club, and an expert bridge player. She lived in the Bridgeport area for more than 70 years before retiring to The Wilderness in Naples where she treasured the company of many friends. Mrs. Esposito is survived by her four children and their spouses, Carol and Vincent Damian of Coral Gables, Florida, Joanne and Gene Harper of Pelham, New York, Ellen and Mitch Grashin of Kensington, California, and Dr. Jay and Ana Esposito of Stratford. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and one great-grandson. Funeral Information Friends may call on Monday, May 29, 2006 from 4-7 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Private burial services will take place at St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
