Obituary of Dorothy T. Csizmar

Former Fairfield Resident CSIZMAR Dorothy T. ODay Csizmar, age 85, of Trumbull, a retiree of the Fairfield Board of Education, died on Saturday, February 4, 2006. Born and raised in Bridgeport, she was a daughter of the late James and Bridget ODay, and was a former Fairfield resident over 50 years before moving to the Teresian Towers, Trumbull. Mrs. Csizmar was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 9427, Fairfield, the Ridge Tower Rosary Society and she enjoyed volunteering at St. Joseph Manor. She was predeceased by her husband, Stephen J. Csizmar, and a brother, James ODay. Survivors include a son, James Csizmar and his wife Cheryl of Shelton, a daughter, Marilyn Pullo and her husband Angelo of Monroe, her twin sister, Mildred McCarthy of Fairfield, four sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Olcsvary and her husband Eugene of Fairfield, Bertha Coscia and her husband Fred of Guilford, Lillian Ryan of California and Arline ODay of Bridgeport, five grandchildren, Michael and Brian Pullo, Pamela, Stephanie and Jonathan Csizmar and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, February 7, 2006 at 9 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Church, Fairfield for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
